Suri Brand

Since the first moment she entered the field of Jewish book publishing almost 20 years ago, Suri knew she had found her niche. Since then she has had the opportunity to work together with the best talent in Jewish publishing for the major Jewish publishing houses, such as ArtScroll and Feldheim, as well as for Targum Press and various other publications.

From 2006 to 2009, she served as editor-in-chief of Horizons magazine, a Jewish family monthly, overseeing both the production and editorial departments. Over the years she has worked with many wonderful authors, and she has edited and managed the production of literally hundreds of books of every genre, from scholarly Torah translations to novels to self-help. But the excitement of telling an author, “Your book is back from the printer and it looks great!” never dims. “Excellence” is her byword, and she brings that quality into everything she does.

Hershel Brand

For as long as he can remember, Hershel has been fascinated by the written word. His own writing has appeared in Mishpacha, Horizons, The Jerusalem Post and elsewhere.

His full-length works include On Eagles’ Wings: Moshiach, Redemption and the World-to-Come (2002) and A Recipe For Disaster (humorous fiction under the pen name Z. C. Berry, 2009). Hershel has also worked on the production side of Torah books—as an editor, translator, and typesetter.

After 15 years as a Torah educator, he’s made a foray into the world of finance, currently working toward his CPA…and of course, Hershel is a voracious reader of all types of Jewish literature.
